Going to be a Dork forever, but not overweight for much longer
July 11,2012. Wow I have been here a long time. Any way I have had a lot of medical problems in the last two years. Broken bones and strange things going on with my stomach. They now know that I have GP, on top of thehiatal hernia and the DM type 2 and the problem with my esophagus doing flip flops. So yeay I can tell you that this site, my wonderful friends on this site and my family have keep me going! I do need a little push from my self right now! Old update 2007-2011
Hey Ya all! I am so much stronger and healthier now then I was when I signed up on spark back in 2007!
I even gave up on Spark and my self 4-month later. Then I came back in May of 2009. Boy was I ready to kick some butt, and I have! I have lowered my A1C to 5.8!!! I am no longer taken my BP meds. I can work out 30-45 min 5-6 days a week and not feel like I am going to die. I use 12.5 lb dumbbells! I love getting up at 5am to do my workout! 3 years ago I would have killed anyone that woke me up at 5am! Now, I am bumped and ready to go! I miss it when I cannot do it! That is something that I never thought I would say. ME LOVING TO WORK OUT! How Awesome is that? What made the difference this time? Many things!!! One of them was this site and all the wonderful people on it; but in the end what made the difference was doing it for ME.

My next reward to my self is new ink! My new ink will be for my dad. I am going to do this some time when I get down between 180-170. That is a total loss of 35-45! So I went with a BIG reward! Done! I did that on 10/4/10. I have a pic on page of it...it was still healing so I need to take a new one...But I love it and it is really cool!
I keep changing my program. I found that is works best from me. I do ST 3 times a week. I also do kickboxing, 30 shred and walk away the pound DVD. NOw I am loving the Hip Hop Abs DVDs! I am loving my new Kettlebell!!!! It Rocks!

My favorite movies are FIGHT CLUB, The Matrix, Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter.....Just to name a few!
