My babies and me! Missing my oldest here though.
I have to re-do this about me. I have been on here many times, have the motivation, then lost it. Gained it again then lost it.
Now I am facing many medical issues, I have had asthma all my life, (which has gotten progressively worse over the years), now I have come to find out I not only have a blood clotting disorder, I also have Sarcoidosis. Any of which could kill me and almost did a few years back. October of 2010, I was in ICU for 5 days total of 8 day stay in the hospital. Then and there I decided to get healthy. First order of business I quit smoking. It has now been over 2 years for that. I started working out, as I did lose the weight I got sicker and didn't know why. Landed in the hospital multiple times over the next 2 years, unsure of the reasons. The more I worked out and lost weight the more sick I got.
Finally tired of being sick and coming across a few other health issues I laid it all on the line this past October, said we will figure it out, or die trying. They did biopsy of enlarged lymph nodes in my lungs, and they finally made the connection and found Sarcoidosis.
Armed with the knowledge, now what. Now, I know what it is but what can we do. I want to lose this weight, but can not stress my lungs out. I stress my lungs out at all, I land in the hospital. I recently (Jan 2013) just got out of a week in the hospital with my lungs. Was told need to lose this weight but can't stress the lungs. So, here I am again, doing what I need to do , but this time it is to survive and live, so, it is a must.
I am only 35 years old, a mother of 5, a wife of 17 years, and I am not ready to die. So I will need the help of others, and the patience as this will be a slow and steady road. I have already in the past month lost 11 lbs so, I am doing something right. I am on medications that make you gain weight so it is literally working an uphill battle already. There it is that is me in a nutshell at the moment. Unable, to do all that I need to so, the only thing I can do is change my diet, and some minor workouts from a sitting or some standing position.
