Reading some blogs and other articles recently - my head is not sure how or what to do next in terms of "setting goals"...

But maybe...

Getting more focused on doing (or re-doing) those activities back into my life??

My Goals:
I've never really been at a "normal" weight for my age. It's difficult to "picture" what I would actually look like when I reach goal. More importantly is how will I feel about myself when I reach goal? Will it frighten me? I know I will feel better. There was a brief time in high school where I lost 30 pounds and was pretty close to goal weight but still 15-20 pounds over what the "chart guessers" thought. Yet I remember how energetic I felt, how awesome it felt to try on smaller pants, guessing at size, only to discover that they also were TOO BIG, and going down to a smaller size. Really cool. So I want that feeling again.

I've see various relatives struggling in their 70's and 80's because they made poor choices in their diet, didn't exercise, and they are having an awful time. Yet, I do see some friends in their 80's and 90's who are really ROCKIN', in great health, energetic, and I want to be that way when I'm in my 80's or 90

My Program:
Well, so far, the program is to just get this set up and figure out what is what, decide what to do, get some sleep, GET OFF THE INTERNET (including the wonderfully fun websites like this one!), and get some SLEEP!

EAT VEGGIES! I love them, but why won't I stop and prepare them for myself?

Go WALK and WALK/RUN

GET REBOUNDER SET UP!!

Do 15 minutes of DeCluttering 4-6 days a week (FlyLady!)

Okay, I'm not done with this list now. But I'm giving myself permission to stop here and revisit it later. It shouldn't go away anytime soon, as long as SparkGuy has enough squirrels running on the electric generators to keep powering the computers holding all of the SparkPeople pages!!

Then I can update this later with more profound coherent goals.

Personal Information:
I'm north of Wichita, KS not far - if that's where you are, drop me a note! Maybe we can walk??

Send me SparkMail if you want my email address.

Ji Julia. Nice to meet you on the coloring club team. I'm sending you a link that I hope works to the page with the coloring Bible from Christian Books.com. Let me know if it works.

    Hi Julia,

I enjoyed reading your comments about my beach-themed picture I posted in the open studio last night. Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. I liked hearing how it reminded you of the late '60's in Florida. I wasn't thinking that when I colored it but looking at it now I can certainly see it, especially with the shape of the sunglasses. : )

Also, I wanted to let you know that I LOVE the picture that you posted in the July Gallery. Also thanks again for the new name suggestion! ; ) Your image was a perfect pick for summer and the colors once again were spot on!

I am a bit jealous of a couple of you guys and how choosing colors seems to come so naturally. I actually picked up a few coloring books this weekend that have some pages in the front on color theory and color combinations. I am hoping to become more at ease with which colors go together. : )

Thanks for being so active on our page - you artwork and comments really add so much to our team.
