My Goals:
I've never really been at a "normal" weight for my age. It's difficult to "picture" what I would actually look like when I reach goal. More importantly is how will I feel about myself when I reach goal? Will it frighten me? I know I will feel better. There was a brief time in high school where I lost 30 pounds and was pretty close to goal weight but still 15-20 pounds over what the "chart guessers" thought. Yet I remember how energetic I felt, how awesome it felt to try on smaller pants, guessing at size, only to discover that they also were TOO BIG, and going down to a smaller size. Really cool. So I want that feeling again.

I've see various relatives struggling in their 70's and 80's because they made poor choices in their diet, didn't exercise, and they are having an awful time. Yet, I do see some friends in their 80's and 90's who are really ROCKIN', in great health, energetic, and I want to be that way when I'm in my 80's or 90

My Program:
Well, so far, the program is to just get this set up and figure out what is what, decide what to do, get some sleep, GET OFF THE INTERNET (including the wonderfully fun websites like this one!), and get some SLEEP!

EAT VEGGIES! I love them, but why won't I stop and prepare them for myself?

Go WALK and WALK/RUN

GET REBOUNDER SET UP!!

Do 15 minutes of DeCluttering 4-6 days a week (FlyLady!)

Okay, I'm not done with this list now. But I'm giving myself permission to stop here and revisit it later. It shouldn't go away anytime soon, as long as SparkGuy has enough squirrels running on the electric generators to keep powering the computers holding all of the SparkPeople pages!!

Then I can update this later with more profound coherent goals.

Personal Information:
I'm north of Wichita, KS not far - if that's where you are, drop me a note! Maybe we can walk??

Send me SparkMail if you want my email address.

Oh, wow! A NEW clothesline makes it even better! Not sure about the oily smell. Do you make your own laundry detergent? I use homemade plus use white vinegar as my fabric softener in the washer. It could be air pollution from the mower next door but I think the smell of grass would be the more prominent scent in that case. Anyway, I hope you get the kinks worked out and soon enjoy line-dried as much as I do. It's almost a meditation, or sometimes a game, for me to hang things on the line to get the most out of the space or other things like color matching or just putting all the socks in a row. Each year I tell my Hubby that you can tell Spring is here when we can see all the "bloomers" outside... lol!
Happy Sparking!!!

Julia,
you can copy those saying as: saving picture & it will automatically go into your file under pictures. try to put them under certain topics. other wise you will always be looking for them. I just learned how to put them into my blogs. I usually write everything into my emails under sending, and list the pictures, then I copy it when I am trying to do a blog. That's when I open my picture links, and put them in.if you want help with anything let me know. I wish I had more knowledge of quoting the bible, like you do. You are so knowledgably in what you talk about. I am a voice in the village of humans crying out & helping people with all my gifts. Each of us have so many beautiful gifts from God to give. I know right now I am having a hard time trying to find backgrounds, or trying to get that judge judy picture to move it's head in judgment like it did in someone else blog. I wish my computer came with instructions on everything. But I guess they would call that the internet for dummies! ha, ha. lol, eva

WOW!!! You've been busy. I haven't been participating much on the threads lately either. emoticon I've been...er, um, uh, lazy??? I've actually been spending lots of time with my youngest grandson (he's 22 months old now) & he's a handful. There's no rest with that kid around!

Hey there, it was a marcy recumbent bike. It is literally the cheapest one that target and walmart sell (they have them online.) The only issue right off the bat is the seat is loose even with all the bolts as tight as possible... so it is a little bit of a wobbler when you get on it, but as I'm sitting on it I haven't noticed an issue. I am not sure about the long time durability, but I figured at that price if I rode it for a year, it was 137 dollars, and I couldn't get a year long gym membership (to ride their bike) for that price. Of course it would be nice to get 2 years out of it. ;)
