Hello! I am a musician and grad student in Boston, originally from San Diego. I come from an extremely fit and athletic family and was always very active--I ran a marathon once, biked across the US, loved yoga. In college I was less active but ate more than ever and started packing on the pounds. Hello! I am a musician and grad student in Boston, originally from San Diego. I come from an extremely fit and athletic family and was always very active--I ran a marathon once, biked across the US, loved yoga. I first came to SP when I turned 30 and had pneumonia and knee surgery recently, and realized that it's time to do something about my health and to build the life and body I dream of having. I only have one body, and I want it to be active and strong. I know my weight has had an adverse affect on my dating life, energy levels, depression and negative tendencies, self-image, and my music career. I'm ready to commit to my spiritual, mental, and physical health.

I am re-joining SP after a hard year in which I sorta weight-plateaued but gained 15 very fast at the end when I just dove into food and smoking for comfort. This website helped so much last time, so I am back to bust the plateau!!!!

My Goals:
I lost 60 pounds thru SP and regained much of my former athleticism. I've been on a plateau for a few years, 20-30 lb shy of my original goal, and recently came to terms with the fact that I've been regaining weight. So I'm here to recommit.

My Program:
DIET: revamp portion sizes, eat more fresh and nutritious food, cut out processed foods and sugars, drink 2-3 Nalgenes of water per day.

EXERCISE: A mix of walking, running, yoga, and cycling, 5-7 days per week for 45-90 minutes.

SPIRIT: Stay positive and kind to myself about actions and intentions toward my goals. Remember how far I've come and how hard it was at times and barrel through those tough moments.

Personal Information:
I'm Jenn, originally from San Diego, now in Boston (via ten years in NYC).

Other Information:
I grew up in San Diego, and I enjoy my bike commuting in Boston. I'm a musician and a writer and a student.

I've lived a very rich and adventurous life, and I think of myself as a balanced and distinct individual who lives life to the fullest.

I've got all the ingredients I need to live a more active, healthy, positive life. I just need to commit to a more nutritious recipe! It's time.
