Journey to Healthiness

After what seemed like endless excuses, self pitty, self loathing and denial, I've decided it's time. I've made myself feel amazing before and I am going to do it again. My body is having aches and pains only because of my weight. I have a terrible relationship with food.

Food has been my comforter and friend through the worst of times. When I'm unlovable, I still have food! It's time to change my way of thinking. My head needs reprogrammed about the WHAT, WHEN, WHERE, WHY and HOW ...

I am getting healthy with 30 minutes of exercise everyday. Anything else is bonus. I'm lucky to be in a position where I can work on myself, as a priority.

My Goals:
1st Goal - 5% = 19lbs
Show up everyday I am kid-less to the gym for the next 3 months. Also, my goal is to progress slow enough I don't injure myself. So far 2.7 on the treadmill is as fast as I will good. I did do 3.0 for the duration of one of my favorite songs. That was fun for an interval!

Goal 2 - 10% - 37 lbs
Goal 3 - 15% - 55 lbs


My Program:
At the very least, 30 minutes of exercise a day.

Personal Information:
Livin and loving Tennessee. I love gardening and dogs.

Thank you for my goodie. I also have had a long time horrible relationship with food. If it had not been for the doctor telling me how much the weight had damaged my body. I would not have taken the step to start logging everything. It is working.
