Getting ME back!!!!

UPDATE: 2/2014:

So I started on this site almost 3 years ago, I managed to lose about 40 lbs in about 5 months, I did this while unemployed, so i had alot of time to devote to it, I got a job in 3/2011 and since then have struggled to start my journey to weightloss again, needless to say ive gained all the weight back and then some, so I am now at my heaviest and having PCOS along with it, its been really hard in all aspects of my life. I feel like I have this shell that isnt me ...

I feel like I have this shell that isnt me on, and I just want to take it off and show the world the REAL me, the me that is trapped in this shell of a body.

I have so many reasons to lose the weight. Health is a top one, but my true motivation is to gain myself back, the vibrant, vivacious, fun ME back, and that is directly affected by my weight.

My weight has finally had consequences to my health, 3 years ago I was "healhty" on paper as far as my labs were concerned, no where near Diabetic. the only thing I had was PCOS, and the symptoms at that point were not troublesome. Now fast forward 3 years, I have PCOS and its symptoms are out of control.

So somethings got to give, I need to just take it day by day and meal by meal, choice by choice. The most important thing is not to give up on myself, because I am worth it.

My Goals:
My goals are to be more conscious of what I put in my body and how that affects my health and symptoms.

To lose weight and be at a healthy weight.

Reduce my symptoms of PCOS by losing weight and taking my medication

To start getting exercise in....this is my struggle...food is easy compared to exercise...

To cook more foods and reduce eating out.


Stop drinking soda (diet also).

Limit carbohydrates (grains, sugar, etc. due to my PCOS)

Increase my Water Consumption

Take my medication and vitamins daily





My Program:
I plan to track my calories.

I plan to stay within range by eating BLD & snacks in between. I plan to have a balanced diet.


Personal Information:
I am a Social Worker and I live in Los Angeles, CA

Other Information:
I like to watch movies with my bf.

Love to spend time with close friends and just laugh.

Love to dance. It became harder for me to dance for long periods of time when I gained my last 30 lbs. ....so i look forward to getting on the dance floor and dancing all night like before.
