Thanks Diana for all your support. I can recommend a lot of books and movies about juicing and getting those fruits and veggies in. If you have netflix there are a few that are really informative and they are free direct streaming.
Hi Diana, Thanks for your comment. I feel better hearing from someone who did the race before. I've never been in or watched a 5K so I didn't know what to expect. I'm just glad I signed up for the Fun Run. I will start running outside for the practice. However, once the 5K is over I think I will stick to my treadmill. They say running is hard on your knees, hips, etc. and since I had foot surgery on both feet fairly recently I really felt the difference from treadmill to track. I love how I feel after running on the treadmill - all sweaty and the feeling of accomplishment. But running is so boring. Even with my ipod blasting. I know I could never be a real runner.
