Going Primal

Just living clean & eating a primal diet. In order I eat mostly fats, protein, veggies, nuts and fruit. I eat very small amounts of grains in the form of white rice only maybe 1 to 2 times a week. My carbs are generally 0 to 100 depending on the day. I avoid all sugar that I can and any gluten as well.

Thanks so much for the note and for friending me on Spark. BOY...do I ever "get" where you are at!!!

Today is a crazy busy day for me, but I will drop you a note soon.

You are in the right place and on the right path (Paleo/Primal) in order to heal!!! emoticon emoticon emoticon

I won't kid you...the journey is long and tenuous and you have to be patient. It takes a long time of consistent effort for the gut to heal. But YOU are worth the effort!!

Hard to say. I always water a lot when getting plants established or planting seeds. At least every other day. If you're new at gardening, it's probably best to start small till you know how things go--but I guess it's too late for that! Could be something in the soil. too. Might pay to get it tested. I think there are county agencies that do that. Justbirdy is a big gardener. she might know more than I do.

Thanks for your comment! And good luck with your garden. I haven't been very successful with beets for some reason, and it's way too late here to do snow peas (or sugar snaps, which I really like), but maybe in the fall...I do have carrot seeds that have been hanging around a long time--might see if I can get anything out of them.

Hi --

I've recently started living Primal and come back to Spark People to help keep on track. I did a search for people doing Primal and found your page. Please drop by mine and let me know if you'd like to connect for mutual support.

Best regards,

- Janet
