“Ain’t no stoppin’ me now … I'm on the move”
I've been with Sparkpeople since Aug 2009. Its been up and down since I joined. I was doing really well until I broke my foot last year. That made working out a challenge. Then DS kept me super busy with his football schedule. I was working out at home doing DVD's, bands and dumbbells. It got to be repetitive. In Feb, the entire family joined the gym and now I feel like I'm back on track again. Here's to making it in 2011! I'm a football mom who works from home. I put on weight after the birth of my son. Each year I'd lose some weight and then gain more. I was stuck in a rut and I know I now have the motivation to exercise, get in shape and lose some of this weight. I'm working hard and exercising......couch potato no more. I look forward to getting up each morning and getting a minimum of 30 mins of cardio in before I start my day. Who'd of thunk! Goal is to get back in shape and keep up with DS. I want to look and feel great again.

My Goals:
Daily Goal - eat within calorie limit & follow a low fat, low carb program. Cardio exercise for minimum of 30 to 45 minutes everyday! Strength training on different body parts 5 days a week. Concentrate on core Weekly Goal - 1 to 2 lbs week My goal is to lose weight and my motivation is to keep up with my son. His drive keeps me grounded & ensures I'm healthy.
My Program:
Exercise at the gym five days a week. Do strength training, cardio and eat right. Update - whether life takes over, ensure exercise minimum 5 days a week. Track, track, track....
Personal Information:
Mississauga via Nova Scotia. My inspiration for this life changing journey is my incredibly fit son. He is a budding football star, who goes full out with drive and determination that amazes me. I only hope I can get 1/2 as fit as he is!
Other Information:
Mother of one, who loves knitting, cross stitch, sewing and genealogy.
