I found out about SparkPeople through a recommendation someone made on Yahoo Answers. After doing some research to make sure it was legit, I decided to join...so here I am. I found out about SparkPeople through a recommendation someone made on Yahoo Answers. After doing some research to make sure it was legit, I decided to join...so here I am. Basically like everyone else here, I was to lose weight. I'm 22 years old (3 months away from 23) and I want to FINALLY start enjoying my 20's and not spend my 20's being overweight. I absolutely hate my body, I hate the flab and the fat. I want to a slim and sexy and ATTRACTIVE 20 something and start to enjoy life!

I applied to a program that would take me to Europe for about a year and I am DETERMINED to lose a lot of weight so that no European thinks of me a a "stupid, FAT American". I'm using this site for motivation and advice to help me lose 70 lbs!!!

CW: 220 (Umm to be honest I have NO IDEA how much I weigh right now because I HATE scales so this is how much I weighed the last time I got on a scale at the end of December 2010. I know the number didn't changed because my body has stayed the same. HOWEVER. since Jan 7th, I cut out a lot of crap in my diet and started working out, so I'm slimmer, but don't have a number to back it up)

GW: 150 lbs or a size 8- whichever comes first! (Heathy BMI here I come!)

My Goals:
*First and foremost in 2011, I want to be FIERCE!!! Being fierce for me means:

-losing 70 lbs
-being slim aka being a size 8-10
-having more confidence with my body
-being stronger

My short term goals are:
-NO MORE ELEVATORS! I'm stepping it!
-Stop pressing the snooze button on my alram
-go to the gym at least 3x a week
-try to stop eating in front of the computer (this one wil be TOUGH!)

Thanks for the encouragement on my blog! I totally feel you--1-2 pounds a week seems like NOTHING when you look at the scale, bc our weight fluctuates more than that in a day. But you're right. It IS healthy. it's just a lesson in patience, I guess. lol Added you!
