Getting Fit Before 40...........

I am trying desperately to get control of my health and get control of my life. I have been away from Sparkpeople for a while but when I got up this morning I decided (again) that this was going to be it. I cannot and will not go on like this.

I see your last status-trying not to give up and it reminds me of something I thought about lately. IF I had given up right before finding SP, I no doubt would be well over 300 pounds by now, and probally very depressed, with even less energy, no desire to get out of bed or off the couch, never would have known the joy of playing tennis or being able to cut the grass more than 10 minutes without hurting and being out of breath! I would have no self-confidence, not know the simple pleasure of looking in a full length mirror at changes in my body, and I never would have had a desire to help others, or met so many nice people all around this world we are so blessed to leave in, including YOU!

You have so many reasons NOT to give up! You may not be able to see them, but they are out there! By following the recommendations for nutrition & fitness, and by NEVER giving up, you will amaze yourself at what you can achieve!

Your Spark family is here to help! If I can help you in any way, just give me a holler :) We WILL succeed, no we ARE succeeding!!
