I started gaining weight after my first child was born, but never saw it as much of s problem, except when clothes shopping, lol. My husband's weight however I did see as a problem, since he had high blood pressure, high cholesterol and sleep apnea. I would stay awake at night listening to him stop breathing and worry. I finally decided to start a daily walking routine in hopes that he would join me. He did and we both started to notice changes. Slowly I began changing our eating habits, since I am the cook of the family. We went to whole grains, ate more vegetables, less fat, less sugar, the thing is we changed our eating habits gradually. I started to notice a steady weight loss, so I increased my exercise to kick boxing, then weight lifting until eventually I began more advanced routines like kettle bell training and tabata drills. Without in years, I went from 185lbs to 119lbs, from a size 12-14 to a size 2. I have kept the weight off from two years now. My husband does not exercise as hard as I do, but he works out consistently at a moderate pace. he no longer has sleep apnea, his blood pressure and cholesterol levels are lower and he is down 5 pant sizes. Today I can actually say that I love healthy food and exercise.

My Goals:
I want to build long lean muscle, because I have learned that muscle is the fountain of youth.
I also want to stay fit and healthy. I haven't been sick for more than 1/2 a day in 2.5 years.In my less than healthy days, I was sick at least 3 times per year.


My Program:
I am doing Chalean extreme 5 days a week and doing kettlebells on the 6th day. I take 1 rest day per week.
