More Self-Care, Exercise, and Nutrition for me!

I am a lifetime athlete who stopped exercising when I got married. In these past two years I've gained 25 lbs! I am here to restart my athletic and nutritious lifestyle and reclaim my healthy body.

My short terms goals are to workout 4 times a week, eat and track the recommended nutrition for my current weight, and take one day a week to relax mentally and physically.

My long-term goals are to reach a healthy cardio vascular base-line, lift weight regularly, and to ...

My Goals:
My February goals:

1. I will say and write down one positive thing about myself every day.
2. I will allow myself to feel and express gratitude once every day.
3. I will continue to track my food every day.
4. I will eat healthy foods within my caloric range.
5. I will continue to honor my own process by catching my negative self-talk and adding compassion to this conversation.
6. I will exercise 3-4 times each week.
7. I will drink 8 glasses of water every day.

My long term goals are:

1. I will maintain a daily spiritual practice of meditation.

2. I will treat my body and mind with respect and compassion every day.

3. I will eat mindfully every day.

4. I will live mindfully, enjoying each moment in the present.

5. I will begin running races again. I will run a 5 K in February. I will run a 5 K in March. I will run a 10 K in April. I will run a half marathon in June.

6. I will allow my body

My Program:
To meet my goals, I am:

1. beginning my meditation practice

2. letting people in my life know what my goals are and how I am doing

3. asking for support when I need it

4. surrounding myself with positive resources, reflecting what is good and true

5. planning and tracking what I eat

6. planning and enjoying my exercise

7. taking my body measurements once a month

7. weighing myself no more than once a month

Hey Janet dropping in to say hi , I'm doing good ( the ringing wasn't bad however I have muscles issues today cebrabal palsy - my arm is bit sheaky - semi protesting when I write- think I slept weird way( I toss and turn a bit not entirely restless except in my mind) oh well...

As for my writing ( slowed down long enough to relax and plan my segments of short stories) what do you teach at your college?
Speaking of college, that how I met one of my Sparkfriends!
