Creating the PowerHouse Woman: The House that keeps ROCKIN'!!!

Welcome to the Powerhouse page where I will be tracking my success and becoming the Powerhouse Woman that I am meant to be. I have relocated from the Oklahoma City area to Houston, TX and I am seeking to continue my healthy lifestyle journey.

Welcome to the Powerhouse page where I will be tracking my success and becoming the Powerhouse Woman that I am meant to be. I have relocated from the Oklahoma City area to Houston, TX and I am seeking to continue my healthy lifestyle journey.

I lost a bunch of weight back in 2009, somewhere around 50lbs. I've been able to maintain most of the weight loss over the past few years, but I am now creeping into a territory where I need to back away...quickly! Since moving to Houston I've gained 15 lbs. Now, no one can pay me to step foot on a scale. Anyway, I am revving myself up to getting on track.

The definition of a Power House woman is a woman who excels in all aspects of her life. She has patience, discipline, motivation, and intelligence. She is a healthy individual, she is a happy individual and she uses the positive energy within her to project & command a powerful presence. However, do not mistake her for a Diva. She is far more perplexed. The Power House woman does not need to exert her confidence onto others, it is a natural aura that is recognized immediately.

My bit: Well, I am a Panamanian-American whose hometown is Tallahassee, FL.

You've got to say, I think that if I keep working at this and want it badly enough I can have it. It's called perseverance!

Be Blessed,

Hello miss powerhouse! Hope you had a great weekend. I had a big project go in at work Friday and so far it appears things went very well so now I can relax a little. So back to normal workout schedules and meal times, woohoo! It's been so long since I've reached a milestone goal I miss the natural high of fitting in new clothes or seeing a new number on the scale. I NEED to do better, I gotta go get my picture motivation so I have it in front of me all the time! So here's to a better week, hope your's is good, Amy

Checkin' in on your weekend here from Omaha, NE, hope it was a good one. I went back to my hometown this weekend and worked really hard to still eat good amid all the food and food and more food. I think I did ok, I'm going to go add my food in right now. I'm still doing a little research to create an new updated spark page but I hope to have something in the next couple of days. Seems like my days go so fast and I don't feel like I'm getting anything done! Anyway have a great week and take care, Amy
