It is going to be a stress free team that is dealing more with an educational aspect on how we can be successful on our journey here on Spark People. You can participate in the threads or not. No judgment will be made. You may simply just want the information the team will share. One of the best things I love about Spark people is the sharing of our knowledge. Read the articles, glean what you can from it and use it in developing your new healthy lifestyle.

Diets do not work and this is what this team will focus on. It is the lifestyle changes that will allow you to be successful. Any diet will work but only as long as you stay on it. You need to choose an eating plan you can live with –FOREVER. There is no quick band aid fixes. No lotions, potions, or pills here. It is just plain old healthy food.

Hope you will share some of your tips or things that worked for you with the team. There is an entire Resource Forum that is uploaded with various documentaries you can watch for free. Enjoy them, learn from them, they are better than summer reruns on tv. Please add any information or insight you can to help us all be successful.

Kudos to you for joining us here on the Raw Foodies Team. This will be one of the best decisions you have ever made. Sparkers come here and join this great team for a multitude of reasons. They may be curious about the health benefits of Raw Food and join to learn all about eating Raw. Many join for the weight loss. Many join the Team for a Detox. There are a great many people who do the Raw Food Diet as a Detox but then they realize how alive they feel and how the pounds melted away so effortlessly they decide to continue to eat this way. There are others who will join this Team for the health benefits of a Raw Food Diet. A diet based on raw food can reverse diabetes, arthritis (I personally have experienced this.
