Hi my name is Portia and I have about 30lbs to lose. I have tried multiple diets but always gain the weight back. I am hoping this program will keep me motivated by accountability.

Personal Information:
I am married, have 3 adult children and 5 grandchildren. Love to walk and hike but hate to "exercise" my favorite hobbies is hiking, reading and walking. I also love to cook for family get togethers.

Hi Portia and thanks for reading my blog. (I know what yu mean about the workweek kicking one's butt!! (Worked extra hours w/ one person gone in a storm of events!!) here is the good news: two things ......... Sparks talks about NEAT (non-exercise-activity) and I just finished one sweaty 35 min housework ........... heart rate up ........ these too add up! ALSO Spark gjuy says even TEN min of activity adds up and helps a lot!!! ........ So be encouraged ............. and I watch the calories cause if you keep those in check you can make headway! emoticon
