Hi! I don't know how you happened to find us right away, but I'm glad you did. We believe that the "Over 60 with 100-200 pounds to lose" team is the best there is. It's the best bunch of ladies...each one caring and encouraging...you couldn't find better support. So jump in and chat. Participation is the key!

Hello and Welcome to Sparks. Congrats on making this first step to getting healthy. Here, you will recieve lots of info on how to change your life for good. There also is many sparkers waiting to welcome you and encourage you while you are on this journey. Don't let this place overwhelm you. It will take a couple of weeks to really feel like you know what you are doing. The most important thing I can say to you is NEVER GIVE UP. No matter how many times you may fall, just pick yourself up and keep going. Find teams that will meet your needs. Then post everyday. This will help keep you accountable. Find those who have lost the weight. I like hanging out with them because they did it. If you need anything just let me know. If I don't know the answer I will help find it. Your kittens are so precious. I also come from Colorado.

Welcome to SparkPeople! I also live in CO so I know what you mean about the "skinny place" and feeling out of the loop. You will find many resources and motivation here on SP for your journey. Take small steps and you will achieve your goals. Those are cute cats you have on your page too. Good luck!
