In two and a half weeks I will be 29, which means in a year I will be 30. I'm so overweight that I have no energy; I sleep, eat, and work. In between I watch movies and play video games. I feel so awful right now, that I can't imagine getting any older, in my current state. I don't know if It will be possible to reach my fitness goals in a year, but I know if continue to let myself go, the older I get the harder it will be to get back on track. I've struggled my whole life with being overweight, and everyday I ask myself when I am going to fix this. Hopefully today is that day!!!!!
1. Lose 75 lbs.
2. Lose 125 lbs.
3. Lose 155 lbs.
4. Lose 175 lbs.
My goal is to lose 175 pounds overall, unless through working out I find out that my "ideal" BMI does not work with my body and or muscle mass. I have separated my goal into four parts so I can see myself getting closer to the end result. My goals are flexible, as long as I can feel myself getting healthier in the long run!
1. Eliminate Soda!!!!
2. Healthier lower calorie meals spread throughout the day, including snacks.
3. Begin excercising and getting my body used to working out again
4. Rejoin a gym as soon as possible
5. Prepare my body to be able handle the intensity of P90x!!!!
6. Don't give up!!! Use facebook, twitter, and Sparkpeople to help keep me motivated towards my goals!
I am from Grand Rapids, Michigan.
My real name is not Ethan Black, but to do this right, I want to feel comfortable showing my "before" picture as well as keeping everyone up to date on my progress, honestly. Well, I do have friends that would help support me, I did not want people logging onto my page just because they knew me, and was more interested in hearing from people who have actual advice or might understand where I am coming from. I am a restaurant manager for a chain where it is near impossible to eat healthy while working.
I love reading, writing, video games, and my pets, which include one dog and three cats.
I hope to someday write a horror or fantasy novel, that is good enough to be published, but don't want to tie myself to a desk for that amount of time until I feel better about my health!
