Going For Health

With being so close to turning 50 years old, I have decided to take charge of my health. My goal is to lose weight and be comfortable in my clothes and with myself.

My Goals:
To be at a appropriate weight and most importantly healthy and happy.

My Program:
Eating better ALOT better since joining SP. Exercising again. Would like to get back to walking everyday as I did many years ago. Maybe just maybe start running but first I have to lose some of this weight.

Personal Information:
Originallly from Illinois. Now in Indiana. Manager of a small Christian bookstore. Married to a wonderful man who happens to be a Hot Dog Vendor during the nice months and Nuse during the winter months. I have one stepson who is AMAZING he is now 22 yrs old, marrried and trying to get into the fire dept. We have 4 dogs, all of them are a big part of my life. I graduted from Sullivan University with Associates Business Degree. Graduated from Clown School 2008 YEP That is right, Clown School. LOVE LOVE CLOWNING! Volunteer with Special Olympics. I have completed 5 years of Polar Plunges, I believe that constitutes me being a professional Plunger or just plain crazy. Love Special Olympics so I will continue to raise money, plunge and volunteer as long as possible.

Favorite movie: Patch Adams. Bucket List: Mission Trip with Patch Adams hopefully with in 5 yrs. Or mission trip to Africa or where called to go.

Tell the green beer to move over and make way for guacamole and chelada's! Tomorrow is Cinco de Mayo and according to National Geographic, "Cinco de Mayo... is definitely becoming more popular than St. Patrick's Day", at least in the United States. "So, what is Cinco de Mayo? The short answer is that it celebrates the defeat of the French Army by Mexican soldiers at the battle of Puebla. The real answer is that Cinco de Mayo is a uniquely Mexican-American holiday. It celebrates a change in the relationship between the United States and Mexico" and is now celebrated almost world-wide.
