Focused on the Prize

I am attempting to lose weight through utilization of the HCG protocol and then maintain using a low-carb diet. My goal is to lose 93 pounds by October 2012. My plan is to use walking and resistance bands during p2 and hopefully add some more strenuous exercise during p4. I finally have my priorities straight and have a legitimate reason for losing weight. I am losing weight to be a better mother and wife, but most importantly to be a better me!

My Goals:
Goal 1: 93 pounds
This goal will be broken down into mini goals of 5 pounds.
Goal 2: Be able to run a 1/2 marathon
Goal 3: Maintain my weight loss.
Goal: Enjoy life.

My Program:
I am utilizing the HCG protocol in pursuit of losing weight. For exercise I am using resistance bands. After each round I will start running and lifting weights. I will also be experimenting with a low carb diet to maintain my weight loss.

Other Information:
I love to read, but it is not conducive to weight loss so I have begun listening to audio books while I walk or during outdoor activities.

Isn't it amazing how much unsolicited advice we get from people who want to bash hcg? It's starting to come to me, now. Isn't it odd that these people who are so interested in our health have neither a Spark Page or a profile picture, LOL.

emoticon I had released pounds, but regained when my son had to have surgery for Testicular Cancer & 4 rounds of Chemotherapy. The stress was a lot. Then I started the hCG Diet back last year in May & did great on R1P2 and during R2P2 I had a horrible Gallbladder attack & had to go to the ER. The doctor said "If u have another one like this before u get surgery, it could rupture." So, I quit the diet & didn't do P3 & I regained back up to 202#, as I waited 3 months to get the surgery. So, here I am now, just back down at 173.6# and getting ready to start R6P2. Ur right that it is just about staying with it. I've been ashamed that I didn't do better, but things happen. At least I haven't quit, and I won't. emoticon
