POLYANNA2 - ONTARIO

Challenges keep me motivated and I am thrilled to have spent such a successful winter challenge with all my four-legged, floppy-eared puppy pals on the Spirited Underdogs team. I am extremely excited about the spring challenge and attaining my 5% goal again. This is the one that's going to take me oh so close to Onederland!!! This is my year!!!

My commitment to fitness will be to keep this body moving throughout every day but also include a minimum of 30 minutes of structured exercise 6 days per week.
On the intake side of things, I am following the SP food guide but tweaking it to include only foods with high anti-oxidant values and anti-inflammatory properties. I guess you could call it an anti-arthritis diet.

Hi, Jeannie! So funny you should mention your virtual hike on the Pacific Crest. I just today started my virtual Trans Canada Trail hike. Up to now I've been hiking on the actual Trans Canada Trail. I've spent 2 years out there driving to different segments of it to start my walk but had to start repeating the segments as the drive was getting to be too far. I'm looking forward to the virtual hike so I can actually see what I'm accomplishing in overall, cumulative distance. I don't know if I'll get this one done before the end of my life either, but it'll be fun trying.
I'm up to my eyeballs in work this week but making my fitness time a priority. I'm feeling good and my positivity is in full gear. I hope you are having a great week also. I'm looking forward to having less work next week so I can be a more playful pooch and pester you with my antics. I don't know why it is that every time a challenge starts so does in the influx of work. Murphy's Law?
WE ROCK!!! THE DAWGGIES RULE!!! YAY US!!! WOO HOO!!!
Hugs, Carol

Your walk on the trail sounds really nice!! We were supposed to get rain several days this weeka and so far all we've had are sprinkles. So disappointing. We really need some good rain, but maybe soon. You mentioned the Trans Canada Trail. A few weeks ago I signed up for a virtual hike on the Pacific Crest Trail. I knew it was a long one, but at the rate I'm going, I figure it will take me about 4 years to get to the other end. When that happens maybe I'll look up the Trans Canada. Don't know why I picked such a long one, except that it wasn't too long ago that I read the book Wild! LOL...I'm thinking I'm going to have to pick up the pace if I want to get it done before the end of my life! Hope this week is going well for you, my friend! Hugs, Jeannie emoticon emoticon

Awesome! Thanks for the water bottle. Doggies can never get enough water. Much nicer to have some fresh rather than drinking out of the puddles on our walks!! Hope your day is going great!! Full steam ahead!! Hugs, Jeannie emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

PS: Have a great weekend, Carol!
