My Goals:
I've been overweight all of my life. As a child, I was forced into diets that never worked for me and only made me feel deprived. Ever since, I have not much bothered to diet until ballooning to 270 lbs. I've turned a new leaf and now am looking forward to getting down to 160 lbs. I know it will take time but am in no hurry. Here be go body!

My Program:
I got started on a weight loss plan after seeing a few episodes of the Biggest Loser. I joined the club and there met a lady who in an indirect way got me started on counting and keeping track of calories consumed. Per the Biggest Loser Club, I multiply my current weight by 7 to get the number of calories I should be consuming on a daily basis. IT WORKS!

Personal Information:
I'm a 44 year Hispanic from the South side of Chicago, originally from California. I'm married with 3 children, 20, 12 and 11. We all have some lbs to lose but none as much as me (thank God). Hubby is very health oriented and supportive of my new weight plan and new cooking style.

As a Spark member, I have learned that going through life you do need people to lean on and talk to. I now have my husband as a spark member also, which makes this program fun! I look forward every day to logging on.
Just remember we are all here for you for support and it is good you have your husband's support also. You can do it and like you said the best way to do this is slowly. Have faith in yourself and do not feel bad for asking questions or asking for support. Good Luck! and remember, we are all here for you.
