I'm an American who has lived in Japan for over 30 years. I'm working on losing weight and staying healthy. My husband and I have started going to a municipal run sports center to work out together. It is fun to do this together, and support each other.
Eat 5-9 servings of fruits and vegetables every day.
Walk 7500 steps or more a day.
Drink 8 glasses of water a day.
Walking to the train station from home (15-20 min. one way)
Checking out Spark People recipes for vegetable recipes.
Finding ways to add exercise in my day to day life - riding my bike to the grocery store, climbing stairs, lifting weights while watching TV, etc.
I grew up in MN. but now live in Japan. I'm married to a wonderful husband. We have two grown sons, a daughter-in-law, and 3 grandkids. The son with the kids lives in Japan, so we get a chance to see the grandkids.
I love walking, reading, playing drums, being involved in a worship team at church, and spending time with friends and family.
