There's No Time Like the Present

As 2010 draws closer, my husband and I have decided to dedicate this year to our health. Health is quite complex: spiritual, mental, emotional, physical...There are many reasons why we are not at our goal weights, but we don't want excuses anymore. We want to be the best versions of ourselves we can be! This year will be different, and every year after will as well. Hopefully our physical health will overflow into the other areas, and God will be glorified as we respect the bodies he gave us! ...

My Goals:
I am going to train for the same triathlon I did last year. Swim .75 mi : Bike 16 mi : Run 5 mi. This year, I will finish faster and stronger.

I would like to reach my goal weight of 130 lbs, unless a higher weight feels ideal.

I want to work on strength and flexibility, in addition to my triathlon training.

My Program:
RUN- 2 days/WK (6-10 miles)

SWIM - 2 times /WK (2-2.5 miles)

BIKE- 1 to 2 times/WK (30-40 miles)

P90X - with my hubby - 4 times a week

Yoga once a week.

Hi and a late welcome to sparkpeople!!!! I got a notification that I had been added as a friend to your page but it took me a while to get into the actual email and check out your spot here on spark! Nice to meet you neighbor :)

I look forward to seeing you on spark and its always to great to meet another believer- but even greater is it when they are right next door :)

So yes I hope to see you around! Sparkpeople is so great, I feel like God is using this site for sure... It has helped me to get a system of eating that is healthy and not over restrictive, and it has taught me balance and helped me learn not to be so extreme with my "dieting" and to have a healthy lifestyle in stead. How are your goals coming along? Come talk to everyone on the daily forum so that we can all get to know you better. It's a great place to post your exercise, eating or whatever you are working on. We can cheer you on or help you try to stay on track.
