Time to say bye bye to the baby weight!

Hey Sparkers! I'm Shelly, a 34 year old who has been married almost 4 years to my wonderful husband Joe. I gave birth to our first child Chelsea in September 2008. I have 40 lbs. of baby weight to get rid of to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight. Then I'd like to keep going and lose another 10-15 lbs. I previously used Spark People to lose 30 lbs and I learned so much. I know I can do it again. It's a little harder this time with a toddler to take care of too but that's not going to stop me.

My Goals:
Lose my 40 extra pounds of baby weight (Chelsea's twin)

During this round of P90X I would like to get back into my size 14 pants. I'm not sure if this will happen or not. I am only in a 16 now but they have to be a 16 plus size because my waist is so big. The funny thing is I can pull on all my size 14 pants, they fit fine in the butt and hips. They are just nowhere near buttoning!

Stay around 1600 calories

Eat clean

Plyo was very tough. About halfway in, I had to start modifying some of the moves. I got a side-stitch at that point and *almost* decided to quit, but I kept going and modifed instead. Afterwards, I felt great, but I am super-sore today. The best part: I wore my HRM, stayed right around 90% the whole time, and burned 975 calories!!!!!

Thanks for commenting on my blog. I did Cardio X today and it was a little easier than Core Syn. It's good to hear from real people who are doing this.

Also congratulations on your progress. Seeing your progress gives me even more incentive to do this.
