Lori's Lost It

I started with Spark People on April 1, 2009. I met my first goal of losing 20 pounds by July 29. After that, I decided that I wanted to lose three more pounds. This was a lot harder, but I lost them by September 23. Now I am just here making sure that I learn how to maintain my weight loss... because I don't want to do this all over again. EVER. (As of Feb 2013, I am trying to lose ten pounds after gaining some back.)

My Goals:
Lose three more pounds by the end of August '09, and start maintenance mode!

Starting weight: 128
Goal weight: 125 (necklace)

UPDATE: Well, it wasn't until mid-September, but I finally got the last pound off and I'm officially not trying to lose any more weight. Now, let's see how this maintenance thing goes, shall we?

My Program:
Eat within my calorie range every day.

Include more fresh fruits and vegetables as well as whole grains.

Exercise at least as much per week as SP determines.

8 cups of water every day.

Get enough sleep!

I am a SAH-homeschooling mother of three. I live in Ohio (USA)

Other Information:
I am currently trying to learn Chinese and piano. I love Jane Austen novels. Grew up in Connecticut. And I have a collection of over 80 PEZ dispensers.

hey sister! It looks like we are being less than enthusiastic. I am struggling in so many ways and well just going through the motions. I am exactly almost where i was in september. I have not dropped a bit. i STILL exercise the same, dont track and drink empty calories too much. My hubby is out of work almost a year, his father is actively dying in a nursing home 4 hours from us, my mom had a stroke a little over a week ago and I am barely hanging on. just wanted to reach out to you and say hi. depression is hoovering, i feel it.
