Since I started on Spark in September 09, have lost about 10kg - more than 10% of my body weight. It's a slow process, there are plateaus, even the odd, small weight gain. But I now have only 12lbs to go, and you know what? I'm in no hurry. It would be good to get to 10 stone (140 lbs, 63.5 kilos) before we go to France in August, but if I don't, I don't. I'm heading in the right direction, no longer eating huge portions or roasting veg in gallons of olive oil. Have given up butter and ...

My Goals:
To get down to 10 stone, the weight I was for most of my adult life. I'd also like a waistline again, but if not, I'll get a corset!
My Program:
I've been using a pedometer for over 4 yrs, averaging 10,000 steps per day. I've lately upped my cardio at the gym to 175 minutes per week, and have cut out animal fats and most dairy. I've never bothered with calorie counting, but am going to do it now, just to help with my portion control problem.
Personal Information:
I'm from Islington, North London. I love travelling, have been all over the world, but London is home.
Other Information:
I'm a writer, which means I sit on my backside in the mornings.
