I turned 50 in February. My weight had been slowly creeping up over the past few years. I became less active and worse yet quit exercising. It was affecting my energy and my health. It was time for a wakeup call. My sister had found SparkPeople recently and it was really helping her. I took her advice to check it out. It was time for a wakeup call. My sister had found SparkPeople recently and it was really helping her. I took her advice to check it out. I had lost a few pounds on my own but this was just what I needed to move me forward and keep me motivated. I started the middle of April 2008 and by the middle of August I had achieved my goal . I lost 28 lbs and am now maintaining my weight with a goal to keep it between 130-135.
