I'm Phil - 28, originally from CA and living in NYC, and learning (and re-learning) that my body's made for things far beyond eating junk and sitting down all day.

Here you'll find my progress toward a size where I look and feel healthier, and where I look and feel like I'm taking good care of myself.

My Goals:
WINTER 2013: Working off holiday + flu weight, and working my way down through the final 10 lbs. - which are stubborn! Fitting into old clothes and enjoying that feeling. :-)

I'd like to find an overall routine which incorporates some far-off ideals I've never been able to accomplish and maintain: nutrition, exercise, sleep, and keep spiritually active.

Overall, my goal is to take to heart that my body is given to me as a gift, and to treat it well.

My Program:
I think that the specifics really bog me down. So, more generally:

- Eat sensibly, enjoyably.
- Keep up an exercise regimen throughout the week that challenges me.
- Sleep a decent amount each night.
- De-stress with meditation, breathing, and prayer.

Thanks for the comment on my blog:) The protest seems to have died down a bit - but there are a curiously large number of fast gfood menus on the doorstep this morning!
