My gorgeous EmmaLee. I'm so happy for her, but feeling overwhelmed and very fat. I'm twice her size.
I looked really rough here. I cried happy/sad tears all the way down the aisle and most of the day.
I am very blessed by my Air Force kids: Michael, EmmaLee, DJ, and a very proud Mom
Hi, I'm Diane. I'm back at it again..Blew last year, but I'm ready now to try again to lose all this excess weight! Not only for my self esteem, but for my health, and to be here for myself, family, and dear friends for many years to come.
I moved from St Louis, MO to be near my family in Michigan. However, both my daughter and her husband are in the Air Force and now stationed in Colorado with my Grandson, DJ. I'm by myself and have been quite lonely in an area without friends or family. But after almost 3 years here, I'm starting to reach out to others and thankfully making a few friends.
Being alone can either depress me as it has for the past several months or I can pull myself out of the pit of sadness and do what only I can do for myself. I decided it's time to pull myself out!
The pictures are from my daughter's wedding 2 years ago September 23rd.
To be around for my kids; healthy, less breathing problems with my asthma, lose weight, and be more, physically fit.
Being diagnosted with Candida and inflamation I need to start using less sugar, flour, yeast, and pop this week; drinking more water, making better food choices, EATING BREAKFAST for the first time in years, and exercising to my ability at this time.
I'm from Lower Michigan and have a Black and White Cocker Spaniel, named Casey, who I adopted a few years ago.
I love the old movies, especially the ones with John Wayne and Cary Grant, most older musicals, my favorite is The Unsinkable Molly Brown. I used to teach country dance when I belonged to a dance club several years ago. Would like to start dancing again.

The upcoming Mother’s Day provides a perfect opportunity to the women in my life. Have you ever noticed that women take care of others before they care for themselves? I am sure that this has something to do with biological functions, probably ingrained into our caring behaviors as children, but you need not have had a child to be a caring and loving woman and thus “mother others!”
Therefore, I wanted to express my appreciation for you in my life. Thank you for being you!
So often I meet women who say I am just a homemaker. Wow, that is a full time job in itself. Then I meet women who work one or two full time jobs, one being a homemaker, as well. It amazes me to see so many women who raise a family, cook, clean, and provide a shoulder to lean on . . . you are all SUPERWOMEN!! So I want to remind you to love how special you are to those around you. You are fantastic that you are balancing and juggling so many things at the same time. You are powerful and strong, you can become whatever you want, and you can say it with conviction!
Thank you for being you!
