EJ's Spark of Light

After many attempts to lose weight with no long term results, I stopped trying.

I joined Spark in July 2008 and by Christmas had lost 20 pounds! Following the Spark way really does work! In 2009 I started sluffing off exercise, eating more, making poor choices.

I joined Spark in July 2008 and by Christmas had lost 20 pounds! Following the Spark way really does work! In 2009 I started sluffing off exercise, eating more, making poor choices.

By March 2011, I had gained all 20 pounds back and was very discouraged. I decided it was never too late to begin fresh, as now I am very aware of my trigger points. Back to calorie counting and exercising.

When we lose something, we want to find it. So if I lose weight, then won't I end up finding it again? It's better to RELEASE the weight, never to return!

I like that perspective - because I don't want to go backwards! Once it's off, I want it to stay off!

My Goals:
I'd like this year to be the year of change!
*Be more consistent with my prayer life - making God #1 priority.
*Have more energy to keep up with my growing boys.
*Ward off diabetes that tends to run in the family.
*Get to a healthy weight, so that I can be all that God wants me to be.

My Program:
First: Watch portions, use Nutrition Tracker when needed.
Second: Exercise consistently. Not just physically, but spiritually as well!
Third: Drink water!
Fourth: Change perspective of "diet" to "better choices".

Hey Eeeg! I saw the message on my phone that someone added me as a friend and I didn't know who it was! What a nice surprise! I have been on here for a month and a half consistently and I absolutely love it! Working on getting healthy and losing weight the right way. Hope you are able to reach your goals too! We can do it!
Blessings,
Tracy

"Beautiful Woman Award! Once you've been given this award, you have to paste it on the wall of 8 women who deserve it. If you receive more than 3, you know you're really beautiful! If you break the chain, nothing will happen, but it's always good to know someone thinks you're beautiful inside and out"

emoticon A BRIGHTER WORLD emoticon

When good friends walk beside us
on the trails that we must keep,
Our burdens seem less heavy and
the hills are not so steep.
The weary miles pass swiftly taken
in a joyous stride,
And all the world seems brighter when friends walk by our side
