It's a Forever Lifestyle Change.

I can't believe I have been with SparkPeople for four years. I have learned so much and have met so many great people. I have learned how to track my food and count calories and I know now that I have to put exercise into my life every day. Before my heart surgery I could walk three miles a day and play tennis three to four times a week and I am getting back to that. I can't believe I have been with SparkPeople for four years. I have learned so much and have met so many great people. I have learned how to track my food and count calories and I know now that I have to put exercise into my life every day. Before my heart surgery I could walk three miles a day and play tennis three to four times a week and I am getting back to that. In 2011 I had lapband surgery and I really like having it as a tool to lose the weight I still have to work hard and eat healthy before the lapband surgery I was almost 250 pounds. I know the lapband works I have seen a few woman in my town that my lapband surgeon has done surgery on and they look amazing. There is so much to give up so you don't get sick I gave up red meat for my heart health but, it's also hard to eat it with my lapband and I feel it was a good choice for me. I don't eat bread, pasta, sugar or salt. I don't drink soda at all but, I am known to sneak in a Carmel ice coffee once in awhile. I am not on a diet I just try to control myself and watch what I put in my mouth. Some day I would like to be proportionate to my height maybe 130 pounds. I know it can happen. I enjoy walks in the park with my pugs Skittles and Violet. Playing tennis for exercise. Also, cooking healthy meals and trying new recipes.
