In It for the Long Haul

I started on this adventure in January 2010 to "fix" a bad knee. I have a lot in common with Humpty Dumpty. It seems like I am always rehabing from some injury. I am making progress though and am a lot fitter than I was a few years ago and have maintained a 25 pound weight loss.

I wish you could too. We have such a great time and save lots of money on stuff new in boxes and yard tools and new hummingbird feeders. Austin is such a rich town that there are bargains galore. 13 boxes of books for 13 dollars. Can't beat that. Have a great night. emoticon

I'm looking forward to the results of the lipid panel too. Wouldn't it be something is the body can heal thyroid problems. And wouldn't that be a smack in the face of pharmaceutical companies and the doc's that promote them. All the health care professionals I've talked to said that this is a life long problem, it never ever goes away and they have never seen a single person able to get off the drugs. That makes me think I won't be able to fix this problem, holistically. But why would there be this one organ the body can't repair or heal. We even heal our brains, just slowly.

emoticon for your comment on my blog about Giverny! I agree with you that these blue flowers look like bellflowers. They aren't (I see lots during my hikes) but they look very similar. They could well be a different kind of campanula.
