It's My Life!
My name is Ashley, and I am 29 year old living in Pittsburgh. I'm looking to make changes in my life so I can be healthy, happy, and active. I am married to an awesome guy. My name is Ashley, and I am 29 year old living in Pittsburgh. I'm looking to make changes in my life so I can be healthy, happy, and active. I am married to an awesome guy. We're approaching 3 years of marriage, but we have been together for 10 years total. We met in college and chose to stay in Pittsburgh. I started making changes a couple of years ago, and was finally getting very consistent! My goal was to be happier and healthier for myself and because we wanted to start a family. We just welcomed a son into our lives on December 24, 2012. I'm looking forward to using Spark again, although I need to be patient with myself and allow myself time to figure out how to manage my time with my own wants and needs, a husband, my gorgeous son, a new house (we're closing in a couple of weeks), work, and all the daily items like cooking and cleaning! I am a kindergarten enrichment teacher as well as a before and after school teacher at a church program. I have my masters in teaching, and it's what I love to do. Losing weight and becoming stronger will allow me to be more active in the gym games and the day to day tasks required of a teacher. Changing my eating habits will not only benefit my health, but it will impact the children when they see the what I'm eating when we're all sitting around the lunch table!
