Just recently became a mother, I have never loved another so much, I want her to grow knowing how to live healthy...but mommy needs to learn a few things before I can become a teacher of healthy living.
I have been walking to work everyday for as long as I can recall, rain or shine! We just moved in January, my walk is now 1.26miles one way, not bad but I wish I didn't sweat! By the time I get to work I have sweat dripping from my forhead and my ankles are slightly numb...but I feel great, I am probley one of the only people who can say they enjoy their commute to work.
Niles has been my constant compainion for almost 11 years, our walks have slowed down tremendously, but we don't go a day without one.
BUDDIE was brought to me when I was 6mo. pregnant he is great, I always get a good luagh out of him.
I got up to 210lb.s when I was prego, most of it was fluid, I can prove it....the first pee I took lasted about 4 min!!!! I lost almost 30 pounds in the first two weeks, all I did was pee and breastfeed. I am now down to 175, almost to my pre pregnancy weight, but I don't want to stop there. I was NOT healthy before, I would like to get to a healthy weight before we try again...that is my goal.

30 day shred 3x's per week, I find that to over push myself is not enjoyable...so I use this DVD as a "filler" for the days I am not outdoors running.
Couch 2 5k, just starting this program, I have high hopes for myself, I know I will do well - because I want to!!! I have heard of many charitable 5k's for next summer, I want to be ready to do them all!

I really want to be healthier than I was before I got pregnant, if and when we try for another I want to be ready, physically! September 27th is our one year Ann. I hope to be down 15 pounds by then!
10-19-09 I was down the 15lbs for our anniv. Now I really want to train hard for a 5K, it's amazing how new goals form!
Running has become a part of me, I am registered to run my first official 5k in April, I know I can do it. I also got brave and signed up for a 10k trail run in July, I know I can do that too. Running is my main form of transportation!
Feeling renewed: I am starting out with a 30min. walk/jog everyother day, I also walk 1.25ml to work and I usually fit in 2 hours of biking a week. I LOVE veggies so my diet consists mostly of plants...although pizza gets me everytime! I just bought a new stationary bike, I try to fit in at least an half hour per day, usually when my little queen alows me to have some free time. So all in all my "program" basically consists of staying motivated and learning how live smarter, healthier and more active!
AS OF 10/01/09: I started the C25K, loving it! Hard work, but is a great challange. I can't wait to someday be able to say I ran a 5K!

I live in the heart of the Finger Lakes region in upstate NY, it is beautiful. I try not to wear shoes and I LOVE peanuts...the kind you eat...not snoopy.
I have a hard time enjoying my job, since I sell flooring, which is not exactly exciting or fullfilling(but the bills must be paid)! I hope to someday have a career helping our mother earth, she needs all the help she can get these days!
My husband and I live on a peaceful off street in a quiet town full of gorgous scenic views of lakes, rolling hills and forests. We just recently became proud parents of a precious girl we call Autumn. I hope that through sparkpeople I can learn to live a healthy lifestyle that I will inturn be able to share with her in this beautiful country.
