The only way to fail is to stop trying

I had gastric bypass in October 2009. It was a big challenge that I was physically and mentally ready for. After the surgery I went into a deep depression for close to a year. That tremendously effected my life. I knew the surgery wouldn't fix the fact that I'm an emotional eater. I still struggle with some of the foods I "used" to make myself feel better, but I never stop trying to be healthier. My life long dream is to live an active lifestyle not hindered by my weight. I dream to one ...

I had surgery last year and I had to stop exercising and it was hard I'm back to it but the weight seems to be coming off real slow. I also have been a emotional eater at times but am learning that their are more constructive ways to deal with my feelings I joined the stress busters challenge her on spark people and they really give you alot of ways to deal with stress good luck and I know you can do it. emoticon
