I've always been active & haven't had to worry about my weight. Several years ago I was diagnosed with melanoma & the year-long treatment caused me to lose twenty pounds. Those twenty pounds plus twenty five of their best friends found me over the last few years & they've gotta go.

Find a way to up the cardio....Rowbics? Danskin Tri relay team..June 15...1/3 mile swim. Disneyland! GOAL ACHIEVED! WOO HOO! To get back to a healthy weight of 150-155 by September. Note: September 8. Almost there!
My Program:
1. Participating in the Swimsuit Bootcamp. 2. Weekly fusion class. 3. Dragon boat paddling twice a week, plus monthly power paddle 4. Power walk with my little pal, Rally, every day.

I'm a wife, mom & dog lover! I'm captain of the Los Angeles Pink Dragons, the first breast cancer survivor dragon boat team in California.

What I'm reading: The Amateur Marriage by Anne Tyler On Deck: What I've read: Fall on Your Knees by Anne-Marie MacDonald-I found this to be creepy & sad, but compelling enough to continue through. It was an Oprah's Book Club choice The Friday Night Knitting Club by Kate Jacobs -enjoyable...chick lit The Shack by William P. Young - excellent..must re-read Coastliners by Joann Harris -didn't finish, although I loved her other books. Twenty Wishes by Debbie MacComber -cute The House Next Door by Anne Rivers Siddons -creepy good The Ivy Tree by Mary Stewart-loved it! Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen-great book...a must read! Marnie-Winston Graham - excellent! What I'm Listening to: The Moth podcast
