My Goals:
My current goal weight is 160! It's going to be a long...hard road....but I CAN make it :)

My Program:
 Watching and tracking everything that goes into my mouth.
Also I'm trying to move and shake...and burn some calories at least 3-4 times a week!

Personal Information:
I'm a hard working...night shift lovin...critical care nurse! I live with my husband in AL...with our two precious little Bichon pups :)

Other Information:
 My family history is loaded down with diabetes, heart disease, and heart attacks!! I'm hoping by modifying what I put into my mouth...and getting more active..the line of this bad luck can STOP with ME :)

Thanks for your comment on my Blog. I didn't feel as sore this morning as I thought I would. I managed to wake up and do my run for C25K, and Day 2 of 30 Day Shred.

I saw on your page that you have hypothyroidism, too. I was diagnosed in May and became so discouraged by all the posts about how difficult it is to lose weight with this disease. I decided I was going to beat hypothyroidism, not let it beat me.

It's never too early to set a healthy course.

Master treating your body with the love and respect it deserves, and you can avoid many of the rude awakenings your family experienced.

My DF had 2 heart attacks while I was a child. Consequently I learned to cook low-fat and watch my labs from an early age. Of course, I indulged, and acted as if I had all the time in the world to correct the balance, and got stung in my mid-fifties.

Now I know "It's not really optional!" I am growing up and becoming wiser about my diet and exercise this year, and I'm hooked on feeling healthy!
