Hey SparkPeople!
My main barrier to weight loss is my diet. I eat out a lot because I get bored with what I cook and it's so easy to order takeout. My goal is to eat out NO MORE than once per week and make smarter choices when I do so. This is big for me since I love cheesy fries and any dessert you can name. I would love to keep in contact with others who are trying to lose weight so that we can keep each other motivated! :)

My Goals:
First, I'm gonna shoot for 220, but I think it'd be cool to ultimately try and drop below the 200 mark.

My Program:
Minimum 30 minutes of cardio, 5 days a week.

No more than 1500 calories a day.

I'm glad I was able to encourage you! I'm sorry it took me so long to reply, it's because I don't log into sparkpeople anymore that much.

Please keep pushing. When you celebrate in small increments it makes the big picture look smaller. I hope that makes sense! You know how it's very easy to get overwhelmed. I'm still on my journey and hopefully, I'll be wrapping this us real soon and start maintaining!

Keep pushing because whatever your heart desires, know that it's possible and achievable.

Thanks for your comment on my blog. Yes, I did it! A total of 28 hours but I did undo my locs. I might post my pics, but it can be done.
I've loc'd my hair several times and this is the first time I didn't cut them out. I just hate it now that I am back on the 'how am I going to fix my
hair?" road again.. emoticon Locs were the perfect style for me...

Good morning and Happy Friday! emoticon Thank you for your kind words; and yes, I have found going vegan has played a major part in my weight loss so far. I also don't feel as sluggish as before so I may adopt the vegan lifestyle from now on. The documentary "Vegucated" on Netflix is what made me decide to take the challenge which isn't as bad as I thought it would be. I actually don't miss cheese, meat, and diet sodas. Anyhoo, I wish you all the best with your journey! emoticon emoticon emoticon
