Nice to hear from you! :) It sounds like you've done great even over vacation! I am also back to work after 2 months off, so busy getting ready for registration next week. :) I didn't loose anything over vacation, but I'm back on board now. My goal was also to cut out diet soda/crystal light. I have an ice machine at work and decided ice water will be good for me! So far (three days) so good. Fun that your goal was similar. I also feel that 2 a week would be fine, but if I don't drink them thats good too! :) I'm on board with the goal of 25 by Christmas too! I haven't been walking, but I did kayak a lot during the summer. I would like to begin walking in the evenings. Anyway, welcome back and I'll look forward to hearing how things are going for you! Hi! Congrats on your wonderful weight loss! I love the pic of your family! You look very happy and beautiful! I am on my own journey..... I've had success in the past, I had a neighbor/walking partner and lost a lot of weight and more importantly I was really healthy. Unfortunately she moved a few years ago and so did my walking program. Since then my weight has not only crept back up, but I've gained even more. Now I fear for my health. Its kind of a vicious circle, the more you weight the more difficult it is to exercise and the more you gain. Anyway, I am once again determined. Do you have any tips to get started? Did you focus on food or exercise first? Right now my thoughts are really focusing on whole grains, fruits and veggies with the hope that it will help me feel full and less tempted by empty callorie foods. I also have both a full-size and mini trampoline so I want to jump on it, even if for just a little bit of time, in the morning and before bed. Any suggestions or tips would be great!!! 2698 days ago
