My name is Carole; I am 66 years old and retired from the music ministry at my church. My hobbies are playing the piano and reading - Christian fiction and non-fiction, and also traditional or cozy mysteries. I've been happily married for 40 years, and have two grown children who are still a big part of my life.

My Goals:
My goals are simply to eat healthy, drink lots of water, and exercise - instead of focusing on weight loss. The weight loss will come.

My Program:
Eating:
(1) Track food on the nutrition counter.
(2) Increase water, fiber, fruits & veggies.
(3) Cook frequently from JoAnna Lund's cookbooks. Her recipes are healthy, easy to prepare, and delicious!

Fitness:
(1) Exercise 4-5 days each week, using elliptical trainer and recumbent bike in our basement.
(2) Use Walk away the Pounds DVDs. Leslie Sansone and I are becoming very good friends.

Spiritual:
Without God in the equation, none of this will happen.

Yep! Did you see what I just saw?

You are a wonderful and successful person!

Love the Piano*Lady handle! I'm am avid singer and my church choir director is one of the most important people in my life, though I'd be embarrassed to tell him. We are in a pastor search and more than one person has said, "We need someone like him", referring to our Minister of Music. All my life I've connected with people through music, and with God at every phase of my life through music. I can't say enough good things about people like you have devoted their lives to this wonderful calling.

Carole, I don't go to FAcebook anymore. I had so many people wanting me to join in their games and things that it just got to be too much. I hated spending all my time turning them down! LOL! I also didn't like all of the things that Facebook kept slipping in on us, and now it is the new e-mail that they gave everyone but didn't tell them about. Anyone on Facebook can contact you through this e-mail and put anything they want onto your page unless you go to your privacy settings and make your e-mails private. I saw this on the news a couple of days ago. I suppose I should make an announcement on my teams because most everyone has a Facebook account. Anyway. Thank you so much for the Happy Birthday! and your very kind words. I so appreciate your friendship, and am also thankful for your reviews. I take forever to read a book! I could never to what you do, and you do it so very eloquently. You know that if you ever need me for anything, I will be there for you! Much love, Kim

Hi Carole,
No, Max didn't leap into the tree. At least he has pretty much left the big tree alone in the living room except for laying underneath it.
So what about the Max at your house?
