NJ MUSICIAN LOSING IT ALL OVER AGAIN

Hi all -- I'm a positive-music songwriter from NJ with 9 CDs of my own music out -- but when I got up to 263 it became really hard to perform, fly, etc. I lost a total of 73 pounds on my own, and came here to get motivated and get good recipes and ideas so that the next 50 (or a little more) can come off. Then I had two falls and things were reversed. I got back up to 235, very discouraged. I am still walking a lot, and I have a buddy now 3 days a week which helps. I use indoor walking ...
Hi all -- I'm a positive-music songwriter from NJ with 9 CDs of my own music out -- but when I got up to 263 it became really hard to perform, fly, etc. I lost a total of 73 pounds on my own, and came here to get motivated and get good recipes and ideas so that the next 50 (or a little more) can come off. Then I had two falls and things were reversed. I got back up to 235, very discouraged. I am still walking a lot, and I have a buddy now 3 days a week which helps. I use indoor walking videos when it rains, dancing in my room, tracking food, and the scale refuses to go in the right direction. I don't even know how to adjust my stats on here to fit where I am. I am walking at least 10,000 steps a day -- often 11,000-13,000, sometimes 15,000 -- once almost 20,000 -- can't say I'm not trying! I guess I will just keep going the best I can. Reading Metabolism Miracle right now.

POSITIVE THINKING is my ball park. Having Spark Buddies helps a lot -- so does walking with my Walkman to tapes I created for myself with the perfect walking beat for me. I am transforming into a new person!

My Goals:
Feel better -- more energy and no back pain -- able to fly comfortably without seat belt extenders! -- look great in clothes -- feel good about myself. Think less about pain and more about how I can share and serve others. HAVE MORE FUN!!

My Program:
Being honest with myself, tracking calories, allowing treats but finding healthier ones, drinking ALL my waters, extra walking, rest when I need it. Knowing that if I am stuck, I probably need to MOVE more!

Personal Information:
I'm a Jersey girl and I love LBI & Rehoboth Beach DE -- this year I even bought a new bathing suit! My two Shih Tzus, Barker and Piper, are my support team -- I walk them a lot, plus do my solo walks (at least 45 minutes a day most days).

Still walkin and talkin and doin what I do -- working on a concert to help flood victims -- and back to counting calories tomorrow for a while, it's the last thing that worked so maybe it will work again. Thanks Viafree!

I MISS you! I was just beginning to feel a connection, when I really backed off sparks. Don't know why. Just think life got so busy, it sat on the back burner.

We're leaving for Chicago on Weds, (we're hooking up with Carli, one of the old hippies, while we are there) for a little vacation.
Let's get to know each other better upon our return.
