For Hajj and for life

Well, firstly, all thanks and praises to the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful. I am Fatima, and I am on a quest to drop kick these excess pounds!!! The most important reason for me doing this is so that by next year, insha Allah, I will be able to make Hajj. I am NOT in physical condition for that right now, lol, and I also want to get back to the size I used to be back in the day. I'm short, so size 8-10 was alright for me at 130-something(pear-shaped). ...

Well, firstly, all thanks and praises to the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful. I am Fatima, and I am on a quest to drop kick these excess pounds!!! The most important reason for me doing this is so that by next year, insha Allah, I will be able to make Hajj. I am NOT in physical condition for that right now, lol, and I also want to get back to the size I used to be back in the day. I'm short, so size 8-10 was alright for me at 130-something(pear-shaped). Yeah, so that sounds big for that weight, but hey, that's how I'm shaped, lol...Anyway, I am just tired of being uncomfortable. I live on the 3rd floor in my apt., and there's no elevator...I think you get what I'm sayin',lol...And also, I just wanted to get this over with before my trip to Africa, insha Allah. I may make Nikah soon over there, and just thought the reaching of my goal beforehand(though not the reason why) would be the icing on the cake!

I started my journey March 17, 2009, weighing in at a whopping 183.5...yowsa!!...and I told myself ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!
I just found this website yesterday, May 19th, and al hamdulillah, I think this would a cool thing to get involved in, especially since I see a whole community of sisters here, too, masha Allah!!...Well, as of May 20th, 2009, I weigh 158.5!!!! Yay!!! lol so I see the benefit, even though I slacked off for 3 weeks(oops!)...so I think now that I'm back on track, doing Turbo Jam, watching what I eat and how many calories I take in, and avoiding too much bread and rice(SISTERS!!! I KNOW YOU ARE EATING RICE!!!!{especially Basmati, admit it}!!CUT DOWN ON THAT--TRUST ME, YOU WILL SEE WHAT I MEAN!!!)...At least don't eat breads, pastas, and rice for dinner, if you don't plan on exercising before bed.

Salaams sis, you are almost to your weight loss goal masha'allah. You must feel so good now!! I'm just starting out, but soon I hope I'll be losing the weight like u are doing emoticon
