A wake up call
I have been overweight my entire adult life. My journey begins in college. I have been overweight my entire adult life. My journey begins in college. For the first time,no one was there to tell me what to eat or when to get up and exercise Due to some problems going on at home, instead of going out to parties with my friends, I spent my weekend nights ordering out and sulking in my room. I began several diets including slim fast and Weight Watchers. I have lost and then gained it all back plenty of times. Then I began having children. With each child, my weight gain became worse. Whatever my highest weight of my pregnancy was, this is where my body decided to stay. I could lose weight, but I always crept back up to when I was 9 months pregnant. Although I knew that I was grossly overweight, I never considered it to be a problem. My doctors visits always went well and I never showed any symptoms. I thought I was a "fat, healthy" person. Little did I know that wouldn't last for long. I recently went to the doctor and was told I have high blood pressure. This is something that I have been battling for the past 6 months and it has finally come to a head. I weight the most that I have in my entire life. I never thought that I would weigh this much. With the help of my husband and friends, I am determined to get this weight off and live the life that I have always dreamed of!
