I just came across your page by accident. I felt like I was reading about me a little. lol My grandma died from diabetes when she was 61, my aunt when she was 57 and my mom has had it for 28 years. I see how crippling this disease is and it makes me want to be a healthier person. I don't want to follow in their footsteps. If you want I can check in on you every now and then to see how you are doing, kinda like pen pals. lol Best of luck on everything!
I understand how you are feeling. Two years ago I dropped 40lbs, and almost all of it has found me again. I get frustrated that I have to lose the same weight over again. But you know what? We both can do this! We have the know how and the desire to take care of our bodies and be fit and healthy. Keep your head up, don't dwell on what weight you have gained, start thinking about each pound you are losing. Keep your head up! 2372 days ago
If giving up is truly not an option; then you CAN do this. Don't look at what you've gained, just take a small step and then another and then another. What's the worst that can happen? You fall back a couple of days? Okay, then just start taking those steps again.
YOU CAN DO THIS. I can feel your will through cyberspace.
