It's A New Year 2011!!! NO EXCUSES!!Let's Get it Started...

I started a new program. I wasn't as serious with my program and health eating habits. As of 1/24/11 I 'm making a commitment to myself to workout 6 days a week,I started back running on the Treadmill -(1/24 and a new program ) CHARLENE EXTREME !!!YEAH BABY...
I am also doing the Couch to 5K.
NEXT WILL BE TURFO FIRE - APRIL 2011!!! SIX MONTH COMMITMENT TOO MYSELF...

As o January 2011 , I have acouple of goals I want to achieve..

1. Started running again on the Treadmill (1/24/11)

Know I need to do this, I have the tool and the motivation, just do it, NO EXCUSES!!!

I will workout on my trampoline 3 a week 45 minutes
I have been taking a Spinning Class at 24 hr. fitness at twice a week.
I will not eat pass 8:00 pm, if I get hungry I will either drink more water or make myself a protein shake.

I will do this One Day at a time. Since, I have gain probably 40 lbs. in the lat 5 years after going cold turkey and stop smoking the pounds just creep up over the years. I remember one day when I was much small. I was in the mirror I wish I was bigger at that time; I was probably a size 4. I look back at picture of myself with my boys and I cannot believe I let myself get so big, since I am bigger than my body frame 5"4" I have lower back pains and other health issue. And people who remembered me back then can�t believe I have gotten so big, I look like a different person. So, I really don't excuse any excuses not to workout my youngest son is 17years and will be graduating from High School in June 2009. So, right now it�s all about me. I need to stop picking up junk food. So today I am fasting for a week to clean out my system. I will be drinking protein shakes and almost a galloon of water everyday.

I know with the help of my entire spark people friend I can accomplish my goals.

I also love to crochet,but I also knit. I have made ponchos with matching hats and baby blanket. I am also a computer nerd (mostly shopping online). year ago, I did not enjoy working out,now I have to do something everyday,but I know my body has gotten use to the aerobic exercise,so I need to shock it back into shape by starting the run/walk program from coolrunning.com. So wish me luck and when I lose that twenty pounds, I will be hot in my bikini.

Welcome to the C25K Team!! :D I started this program nearly two years ago and found a passion for running!! I hope it does the same for you!


If you run, you are a runner. It doesn't matter how fast or how far. It doesn't matter if today is your first day or if you've been running for twenty years. There is no test to pass, no license to earn, no membership card to get. You just run.

Hi! I saw one of your posts on the Turbo Fire team board and checked out your profile because we have some similar goals. I have just started the couch to 5K program (still on week one) and today I ordered Turbo Fire and can hardly wait for it to arrive. I will probably be starting that program in a month or so. Look forward to seeing how your program is working for you!

Hi there! Thanks for the comment on my log! Right now I just drink this stuff called 100% WHEY by Muscle milk. It only has about 140 calories per serving and it has 27 g of protein! :) I think I'm going to try either Syntha-6 by BSN or Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey Gold Standard. I hear a lot of great reviews about both!
