My Goals:
Okay. Something personal. 10 years of severe health difficulties. Still messed-up but not as much as before. Too many bad meds. General health and metabolism shot. Past: bit too thin, working too hard, not eating. Present goals: learning what and how to eat and how to sleep. Movement and balance again. Straightening out the metabolic disaster. Learning I have a body.

Phase II, 3 months later: General health and metabolism good; a little underweight. Current goals: maintain and improve overall wellness with this new awareness SP has helped me with, continue the struggle for sleep. Gain some more muscles!

My Program:
6.10.11: 17.3% BF. Lower BF to 15% by September.
6.17.11: More underweight still. Gain muscle weight.
7.1.11:15% BF. Same weight.
7.8.11: More underweight still. Stop, please.
7.21.11: Even more underweight. Alas.
9.16.11: Both LBM & overall weight, better.
9.23.11: Gain in both LBM & overall weight. Hurray!!
10.7.11: 14.2% BF.
11.17.11: Gain 3 1/2 lbs LBM!
1.13.12: 11.2% BF & no longer underweight!
2.5.12: 10.9% BF
6.21.12: 11.9% BF
7.8.12: 10.9% BF, 109.6 lbs - highest LBM ever!
4.11.13: 10.6% BF
5.7.13: 10.4% BF
2.24.14: 10.4% BF
4.16.14: 13.4% BF, 103.8 LBM Arrgh!
7.19.14: 11.7% BF

Yes you're absolutely right, I normally post my blogs the following morning just in case I have some midnight binge etc I wanted them to be accurate etc so wanted to make sure the day was done and dusted so I could be open and honest with everything in it. I actually quite liked doing it that way.

But anyways YES it is day 30, 4pm and I am in the final stretch, I already have my breakfast sorted out for tomorrow, I'm so excited, freshly hand picked blackberries from my mums friends garden.

I didn't even think the jigsaw was making my brain limber but I bet you are absolutely right it helped to limber up that ole brain to memorise the keyboard without even trying. Thanks for all your support Petlia have enjoyed sharing my journey with you!

Thanks for your fun comment about our granddaughter's picture in the natural Supta Baddha Konasana. The outfit she is wearing is a happy baby onsie from a friend's yoga clothing line ChakrasbyDidi. It shows a happy baby pose (of a baby) with the Sanskrit name and then the English name on the back of the onsie right over her bottom!.

Thank you for your kind message about Bikram and his teacher training. The training was insane.

I picked up Hell Bent at a friend's house while waiting for somebody and then I guess I forgot about it and never got back to it. But I'm sure that the die hard Bikram folks hate it (us rebellious types called them "KoolAids" - meaning they drank the Koolaid that Bikram was handing out and believed he was practically their guru - though Bikrarm is decent enough not to call himself a guru! And believe me, he ain't "decent" about much - so he deserves props for this!)

Bikram says he trains his teachers so hard because he wants us to be "bullet proof". And it really did help to have gone through such a tough training. Students change in the 105 degree heat of the regular classroom (during training it was much much hotter most the time - ambulances came several times to collect the dehydrated people, etc. ). Anyway, the Bikram practice brings up a lot of personality stuff and teachers need to be strong to be able to help everyone.

On the other hand, Bikram is an extremely controversial man. I think that "Hell Bent" probably does a good job of showing that.

I am now doing mostly Vinyasa Flow - at regular room temperature and loving it.

I may be taking a Laughter Yoga training some time in the future. Have you ever tried it? It is just wonderful.

Yoga is so wonderful. I feel that all the kinds I've tried have made my life better and better.

My husband and I both feel that despite everything we are glad we took Bikram's training.
