Me using another tool to get what I have to

I am a type 2 diabetic who was not really serious about beating it, now I am, getting married changed my life totally, this year, 2012 I have gone from 145kg to 110kg and I personally think that is a good start, but only a good start, the finish line is still out of sight.

My Goals:
My goals have been set by my actions, a couple of months ago I got married and the wife has a second goal for us, a child before the end of 2013, and if I am to be father I will be a healthy one, well as healthy as I can be.

My Program:
What I am doing to lose the weight and lower my sugar levels are various things, mainly what I eat now and I walk, but it has to hurt or it is wasted effort.

Personal Information:
I am from country Australia, where I live is a town of 9000 people and it is where I am very comfortable now, whether the new wife will feel the same we will have to see.

Other Information:
I saw this recently and it works for me, it is quote from a start wars movie, I believe Yoda was the character who said, "either do or do not, there is no try"

On the Start Page you will find all the information on how to set up your Spark page.
We recommend that you do this, as it is the basis of this very special journey with us to health and fitness.

Our Team Leaders have all made this Journey and have learned so much, we are still learning as we go on.


We are vibrant team who love our healthy Eating and doing lots of Exercise .
We have lots of interesting and helpful Challenges going on, and the reasons for these are 3 fold .


1) We need to count our Calories!!!. It is only by counting and keeping within our calorie range that Sparkpeople set for us, that we will lose weight and feel so much better.


2) We need to drink Water!!!. We need to drink at the very least 8 full glasses a day, this will prevent dehydration, and also help to stop us feeling hungry ..
Our brains and other organs in our bodies need water or they will shrivel up and cause so many medical problems .


3) We need to Exercise!!!. We need to keep our bodies mobile and fit.
Without exercising our bodies, muscles will die and we will suffer arthritis and other ailments.


We have fun Challenges too, to tax your brain and keep it active ..
Above all, Our mission is lead a Healthy and Fit life, free from Pain and Illness.
