Current Status:
PENSKE40 is back. After surgery this past November, and many other things going on in life, I lost track. Again trying to get back on that horse!

Here I go again -
New Strategy.

My goal is min-goals. 5lb goals.

By year end, if all goes well, I'll be down 20 lbs and I will be happy with that, and can tackle 2010

My Program:
Focusing on vegetables and fruits being the main part of my meal. Finding lean proteins and whole grains. Using less processed foods.

Exercising at LEAST 45 minutes 5 days a week

How is the 1/2 marathon training going? I am also planning on a 1/2 marathon in october, and it will be my second. the first one I ran as hard as I could and finished it in 2:09...I don't plan on running that hard this race. One all out run is enough for me this year. :-) best of luck to you. welcome to the road runners. gail

Hi Penny!
So glad you joined our Autism, Aspergers, Sensory, Oh My! group!
This is wonderful that you are doing the virtual race I think you mentioned.
I am doing a virtual race as well...we started Mother's day and end 4th of July. We pick a virtual route and go for it. I do it with walking and fast pace walking on my treadmill. I really love the challenge and you sound charged as well!

Hi Penny!

I run in the morning between 6 - 7 am before the sweltering heat kicks in. I know that at some point it will be too hot even in the early morning hours. So, I plan to check out a few gyms, but I really do love running outside. It is so much more relaxing.
