Hi there - I am in my forties and put on the pounds without even thinking. This is a new stage in my life where I want to maintain a healthy weight and still enjoy my social time with wine and food - is this possible? I know now the answer is yes. I feel after only one week that I have more energy. It is all about planning things and being aware for me.

My goals are to lose weight, have more energy, and feel more in control of my life and level of emotion.

My Program:
I am watching what I eat, exercising using the spark plan that was designed for me, and trying to drink more water. The water goal is the most challenging for now as I do not always meet that goal. I keep working on it though.

The scale is up to you, I like the digital ones because you can weigh in pounds, ounces and grams. If the scale you have is working then stick with it. emoticon

Well what u eat has a lot to do with how ur body feels. Once I started "eating clean" I really noticed a difference with my energy level and I also noticed my skin was clearer and glowing. I was amazed!! What I would suggest is read the eat clean book by Tasco Jenkins(I think that's her last name lol) that really help me. Also I read " master your metabolism" by jillian michaels. I learned a lot about my hormones (being female) and how what u eat really effects your metabolism and weight loss. I was blown away with both books. I hope that helps. :-)
